How to Write

Whether you are a writer or designer, everyone has their own processes in the creation of our craft. As our world changes and technology becomes increasingly important, I believe that because of this our creative processes must change with the times as well .People often think of writing and designing as two separate processes that can’t intermix, but what would happen if we did mix these processes and how would it impact the way we create? Many people often don’t have a conscious awareness of their processes and when things change, they find it hard to adjust. So, it is essential that we analyze how we create in different mediums and try new processes. When I personally analyzed my processes for writing and designing I was shocked at how different they were and was interested in seeing how my writing would change by using my design process and vice versa. By documenting myself trying to do this I hope it inspires others to get out of their comfort zone and play with their processes.
